After a big success of Asus Max Pro M1 , the smartphone industry keeps on evolving at lightning speeds in a year. First of all In order to keep up with the competition, Asus has come up with its successor Zenfone Max Pro M2. Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 and the Asus Zenfone Max M2 have been launched in India. The Max Pro M2 has a premium feel and has Corning Gorilla Glass 6 to the display. Asus said that the Max Pro M2 is the first phone to bring Gorilla Glass 6 to bauget smartphones.
The Zenfone Max Pro M2 follows the 2018 trend of using a 19:9 aspect ratio, with a 6.26-inch full-HD+ “notched” display and dual rear cameras. It then tries to add some ‘Asus-flair’ to the package – a glossy rear panel that shines light patterns when viewed in some angle. This device has Corning’s Gorilla Glass 6 protection. This Phone has Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC Procesor and is available in three variants – 3GB RAM / 32GB Storage, 4GB RAM / 64GB storage, and 6GB RAM / 64GB storage. The stock Android interface to is there, it’s still runs Android 8.1 Oreo from out of the box. Asus says that they will update the Max Pro M2 to Android 9 Pie by January 2019. With a mega 5000mAh battery, the Max Pro M2 should easily back upto two days. This statistic will improve when Android Pie rolls out.
The rear Camera combination of a 12-megapixel primary sensor with an aperture of F1.8 and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor paired with F2.4 lens. It has a front LED flash.The LED notification indicator also stays in typical Asus fashion inside the earpiece.
The Max Pro M2 will be available in two colours – Blue and Titanium.The Max Pro M2 supports dual-SIM dual-VoLTE standby. This phone has a fingerprint sensor and supports face unlock as well.
The Zenfone Max Pro M2 is priced at Rs 12,999 for the base variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. While the other with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage costs Rs 14,999. The top variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage comes for Rs 16,999.
